Assistant Golf Professional and Junior Golf Leader, Sam Klobucar will be in his third season at Destination Geneva National. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Golf Enterprise Management and Hospitality and has gained valuable experience at golf courses across the country and world including Olympia Fields Country Club, McDowell Mtn Golf Club, Kauri Cliffs, and Tara Iti in New Zealand. Sam has passion for the golf industry, growing the game of golf through juniors and families and is very excited to be leading our junior programming.

INSTUCTOR BIO
Rico Viljoen, a Class A PGA Professional and Junior Golf Leader, is embarking on his first season with Destination Geneva National. Originally aiming to become a wildlife veterinarian, Rico's life took an unexpected turn when he discovered golf at the age of 16.
Completely captivated by the sport, Rico made the bold decision to shift his focus and pursue a career in golf. After completing his schooling, he dedicated two years to honing his skills at a golf academy, where he began his journey with the PGA of South Africa. Following the completion of his three-year PGA program, Rico graduated in September 2022 as a Class A PGA Professional.
Eager to expand his experience and knowledge, Rico ventured to the United States to immerse himself in the world of golf from a new perspective. As a young, ambitious golf professional, his passion for the sport is matched only by his desire to continually learn and grow.
