Located in beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, golf instruction at Geneva National Golf Club blends together lessons from our experienced staff of golf professionals with state-of-the-art golf-swing technology. Whether you plan to learn as a group or individual, our team of golf professionals is dedicated to improving the game for every level of player.Geneva National students will receive instruction specifically designed for their individual success. We provide a low student-to-teacher ratio for you to receive the personal attention needed. The professional staff at Geneva National is prepared to improve all aspects of your game, including club fitting, full swing, short game, and on-course strategies.Geneva National Golf Club Instructional Programs are designed to provide the same game-improvement technologies and instruction to the amateur and junior golfers that PGA Tour professionals have access to every day.

Instructor Bio:
A PGA Member for over 25 years, Director of Golf Steve Loomis joined Destination Geneva National in 2022. Before then, he spent almost 20 years with KemperSports in key leadership roles at or overseeing several private, public and resort golf facilities.
During his career, Steve has taught thousands of lessons and has been a huge advocate of junior golf enhancing facility programs throughout the country. Every golfer’s swing has strengths and weaknesses, the key is being able to build around the strengths and change the biggest weakness that have limited your success. Steve has played in numerous PGA section events over the years and uses this experience and knowledge in his everyday teaching.
Lesson Rate:
$100 per 45 minutes | $15 per additional student
Instructor Bio:
Ryan is a Master Clubfitter with access to all the top brands of clubs. He is also certified to teach and club fit on Trackman technology. In addition, Ryan is one of the top playing professionals in the Wisconsin PGA and regularly competes in tournament play. With over a decade of experience, he teaches beginners, juniors, young adults, college-level, and professional golfers. Ryan is available for coaching at the practice facility and on-course, offering guidance in course management as well as the mental, physical, and kinetic components of the game.
Lesson Rates:

45 Minutes - $100 per person | $50 per additional student
Lesson can be focused towards any part of the game; putting, chipping, bunker play, iron play, fairway wood play, driving or any combination. This is a great option couples, children or if you want to take a lesson with a friend. -
90 Minutes - $175 per person | $75 per additional student

5 Lesson Package - $475 per person
Five 45 minute lessons. -
10 Lesson Package - $900 per person
Ten 45 minute lessons. -
On Course Playing Lessons - $225 for 9 holes | $375 for 18 holes
Hit the course with Ryan allowing him to see your game in an on course setting to assess areas to focus attention. It also offers the opportunity to work on course management skills which can have a great impact on scoring. Lessons can be taken as individuals or in a group of up to 3 people.

Charlie Brown, PGA
Member Head Professional
Instructor Bio:
A PGA Member for over 25 years, Member Head Golf Professional and Membership Sale Director Charlie Brown has been with Destination Geneva National for over 5 years. Before then, he worked at several private and public golf facilities.
Over his career, Charlie has taught thousands of private golf lessons and conducted countless clinics to golfers of all ages and abilities. His teaching philosophy is that all golfers are different, and no two swings are alike or only one swing theory correct. Charlie works with his students on improving their overall game, mental and course strategy, and everything from the driver through the putter.
Charlie has won numerous tournaments and awards over his illustrious 25 years of being a P.G.A. Professional. A 3-time Wisconsin P.G.A. Player of the Year in 2003, 2004, and 2006 which led to his being named Wisconsin P.G.A. Player of the Decade from 2000-2009.

Instructor Bio:
PGA Associate Assistant Golf Professional / Guest Service Manager Drew Ringelstetter and has been with Destination Geneva National for 3 years. Before then, he worked at several top course across the country, including Sand Valley and The Quarry at La Quinta. Drew is from Portage, WI and played golf at University of Wisconsin – Stout. He plays competitively in WSGA and Wisconsin PGA events, winning two WI section events in 2022. Drew has learned from many great teaching pros including Don Hurter who was a Top 50 Golf Instructor in the U.S.

Golf Schools
Golf Schools at Geneva National Golf Club Golf offer players of all skill levels a unique mix of situational practice and on-course instruction. All students enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere surrounded by our helpful staff of golf professionals dedicated to improving every aspect of a student’s game. After spending time on the practice range with our instructors, students will have the chance to test what they’ve learned on the course.
Each Golf School includes:
